Is the practice principal and has over seventeen years experience as a physiotherapist. Her areas of interests are headaches, pre/ post-natal care and family health. Maia has completed a wide range of courses over the years including Clinical Pilates, Dean Watson Headache course, McKenzie method, Mulligan technique and dry needling. Maia enjoys the challenge of running the practice as well as being a mother for her three young children. This enables her to appreciate the variety of issues a new mum and children can encounter.
She conducts evening and Saturday morning Pilates classes.
Maia is a Mentor in Training for Polestar Pilates Australia. She loves being surrounded by people passionate about Pilates and movement.
She is well on her way to obtaining a Diploma of Professional Pilates Instruction. Maia is undergoing Certification for the ISM (Integrated Systems Method) by Diane Lee in Vancouver Canada.
